Ænima, I invite you to re-read my posts. My last one was targetted specifically to any modder who feels annoyed by brutal doom's popularity and/or players (or any other obscure reason).
Since we were on the topic of mods not being compatible with BD, I had assumed that your statement meant "Make a better mod, one that appeals to that target audience (by being BD compatible)". My bad, then.

It seems this is not your case (while you agreeing with the "monopolizing" part makes me confused and raises an eyebrow

)
I don't agree that it's "monopolizing". If it were, you wouldn't see AOW, ZH, WDI, or SF still being played.

Does it mean that the mod itself insult you all the time and behaves just like any idiot towards you? Seriously, author is completely unrelated to how the mod behaves, just like it's player base.
You're missing the point. The mod itself is at some fault because of who it attracted into the Doom community. Brutal Doom caused a rise in the popularity of Doom, which also brought along several people with unpleasant attitudes.
Dubstep existed long before Skrillex. Then Skrillex attracted a lot of people who had no clue what real 90's dub was.
Similarly, the Doom modding scene existed long before Brutal Doom. But then Brutal Doom attracted a lot of newbies who believe that it's the ONLY way that Doom can be played and are completely ignorant to the fact that there are other great mods out there.
