Seen some of these people in Duel servers and dueled them as such. But sometimes.
I'll be honest here: TheTruth, Watakid, waterivesi and maybe Disfiguring, are improving fast in the CTF territory, only if they played more.
As well as the non-mentioned Galactus.
Too bad nub_hat only wanted to scrim here and not duel as much.

As for what Iced said: new people try to duel, but get stomped by skilled people, like myself, and only if they ask how to become better, but they never do. If they can't even maintain a schedule on duels, I won't be seeing them in privs (scrims are fine too). Also skilled players are scaring the new ones in priv, duels, etc. Even though people can help if asked. That's the problem, they don't ask, they don't have the courage to ask. And it pisses me off since we won't have new challenges, meaning not as many players playing for this part of zandronum.

@IdeIdoom We, Jormungand, may not be a very active clan, but it still stands that we're willing to help people to improve (with what we have), so they can develop with our little chunk of the helpcake :) All small bits make one big piece in the...cake... om nom nom nom...

I didn't say anything else but that J is willing to offer a chance to new players to get better at competition part of Zandronum.
I know that J isn't pretty active at the moment, but I am sure it will be soon.

I don't mind if any of the current Zandronum players stumble upon people seeking help (in order to improve), that they send those guys to us. We'll be glad to be of service for the newbies to give them a push towards a good direction. Like that, all of us might be getting new challenges in the future. Let us hope for the best! :)
