New Clan Worth it? or no?

I've wanted to start up a new clan with like recruitment and the works. But I'm kind of wary on if it's still possible at this point? People have told me the community is too small at this point to do so. Opinion's?

The community is too small excuse is a joke. Go ahead and make your clan, write down the conditions required to join your clan and it's goal (if competitive or not).

It's not so much the community is small more so than the fact that the clan scene looks like it's in another coma. IMHO unless you already have at least 4 or 5 very active people actually willing to join your clan you should probably hold off on that idea.
