I had the same with my old geforce card (GTX650). Not sure how it is with radeons but i dont use it anyway as it causes input lagg.

Vsync causes mouse lag when activated. Turn it off unless you are a compulsive masochist with ur aim. I use OGL for mods and Software for OS doom

I would actually use Software if it had the freelook like OpenGL did.

But now that I got a new computer I don't lag in GL anymore. (Unless there is a lot of shit happening on the screen of course.)

I tried Vsync in 2.0 with software, and capped / uncapped FPS (It delayed my mouse). I didn't tried it with OGL though

OpenGL all the way.

I've got other ports to use for the ancient software renderer.
