I implore you to reconsider.
Think about this, and if you're REALLY good at making wads, give it a shot.
At the risk of sounding rude, for which I apologize in advance for, why should I?

"I implore you to reconsider".
I implore you to bite me.

"Why should I?"
Was I referring to you? No. I wasn't telling you to, I was bringing the idea up.
HA! Take that, Moon. Made of Cheese, my ass!

I implore you to bite me.
I never knew you felt that way. Well, all right, but I'll be gentle.
Was I referring to you? No. I wasn't telling you to, I was bringing the idea up.
...ergo allowing anyone to respond on a public forum.

That depends on WHO is going to make it.
Not exactly. Zandronum has its limitations since it's based on Doom. It'd take you great effort if you want to make something big so it won't be buggy or just laggy. Overuse of slopes results in fps drop. Overuse of 3D floors results in fps drop. Overuse of graphical effects results in fps drop. Overuse of some Decorate or ACS functions results in making the server activate a TNT inside itself. And this "Overuse" line is not very far away. Also, Doom is not true 3D, so it'd also be a huge pain in the ass to make an epic 3D floor structure.

If you're going to make a single-player AOW campaign, it would have to be Doom-styled, not Renegade-styled.

I'm pretty sure you were referring to everyone reading the OP. And TerminusEst13, as a representative of 'everyone', asked a pretty good question - why bother with something like this?

Either way, only Ænima and I will be interested, once we receive the money. I accept PayPal too. My wishlist is a bit too.... well, it's private, y'know, so only PayPal.

Anyway, if you'd really like to see a single player AOW campaign, you should try making it by yourself. You never know if you'll succeed or not unless you try, which was the meaning of this quote:

...and since nobody's making this, that's your only shot.

I'd also like to commend you for your creativity, I surely can't think of anything while taking a crap.

Volt.

Seriously man. Old Projects mean RGA2 and AOW, among other things. I've talked to him about this before. It's not like we talk in MSN on a regular basis or anything.
I wasn't aiming on Volt.
Sure he would be a great, even more than just a great asset to some team...

Oh... and i would do it for free btw.
If something is challenging enough, AND when i have the time, im always interested.
That doesn't mean im in, ...im just....interested.
At this very moment i dont have the time. there are other things that i want to make before even digging into the AOW resources,
and fromout THAT, to come up with some nice singleplay missions (or simular to the game Renegade).
