You can put mods in the skins folder(you just gotta take em out when your done and setup the next ones you wanna play). Thats how i play in school since i cant load doomseeker in my school. But it is kinda fustrating when people are asking to do something the wrong way.
If i could have a feature in BD i would want impse to happen with a key or combo or to rip and tear the cybers huge guts. Thank you that is all

Stop doing this.

No offense, it's just that you're the millionth person to put BD in their Skins folder and then post here because they broke Zandronum and can't play anything else.

Mods go in the Zandronum folder. Use ZDL or IDE/DoomSeeker to launch singleplayer games.

I don't care who told you to put mods in your Skins folder. Whether it was ModDB, YouTube, or SgtMark himself. They're wrong. This is the worst way to load mods. I don't care if it works temporarily, you're setting yourself up for frustration and confusion, especially if you're a newbie.

This is something that needs to be part of our forum FAQ; if someone posts complaining that they broke Zandronum because of the Skins folder (whether they're trying to load BD or something else), they need to be instantly linked to a tutorial on how to load mods CORRECTLY.

Seriously, it's so easy to use DoomSeeker or ZDL, or even DOS/Terminal. I was using command lines to play wads when I was 12 years old.
Here's your answer.

Can't find out Doomseeker's? Use IDE's, or ZDL. Or just drag the PWADs to the executable. Easier than putting it in skins by far.

wait, but you can use doomseker to load offline mods xD, and you can store the wads that you want to load on a specific ini file...

if at least zandronum had a build-in launcher :s (but a better one compared to vavoom's buildin launcher D:), since, if you can select the iwad that you want to load on the start, why not select the pwads too?

you cannot run doomseker or you can't see the servers?
if it's number 2 then it's the firewall then you can do this
Image
and you can store the mods that you want to play on an ini file...

If he knows the effects of using skins folder to load mods and he feels that is more convenient for him to load them, there is absolutely nothing wrong with it. He knows what he is doing.

Im studying how to beat those maps. Thats my excuse. Plus im doing a report on violence in media so its technically research. But it wont let me put it on the computer,I think I had it on there once but I accidentaly deleted it and forgot how to put it back on. Then when i did do it though I couldnt make a files path cuz it wouldnt pick up the folder it was in for some reason. So thats why I use mods in skins folder at my school.

Most cases that get complaints are because Brutards attempt to play online with it. Single-Player's tolerable, not Multiplayer. And that's where all the "BRUTAL DOOM PROBS NEED FIX PLS" threads come from.

Now I get it, sorry 'bout that. I just thought it was just dropping it in without good reason.
