Not sure how to describe it, but whenever I play in Zandronum coop/survival server with a traditional megawad with over 8 players, the map seems to get overrun. I was thinking of a way, possibly with a script, that would make the monster health go up by a percentage when the player count goes above a certain number. Say, every 5th player (player 5, player 10, etc) causes the monster health to go up by 50%.
Ammo would probably be an issue as well, but that could be solved by respawn timers perhaps.
Serious Sam has a similar feature which is where I got the idea from.

sv_coop_damagefactor 1.45 and now people have to play carefully or get killed before knowing what hit em.
