please update zandronum

zandronum is not compatible with many new functions.

because of this fact, I cannot play , with my friends, the wads which are made with new functions. they are only activated in Zdoom 2.6.

so, to solve this problem, I think zandronum has to be upgraded to drive, in multiplay mode, many recent wads which are constructed by many new functions.

I want to request the developers or the creators of Zandronum to upgrade Zandronum more advanced in the sense that Zandronum can accept new functions which are only activated and used in Zdoom of which version is more than 2.6

please, by using or considering Zdoom 2.6, upgrade Zandronum and make a more enhanced environment of multiplaying. thank you for reading!

What do you think the developers/testers do? Don't worry, Zandronum will eventually get there, but as of right now, you'll just have to wait.

Sorry to burst your bubble but we are REALLY far behind on the updating and I can't see that happening any time soon (I believe were like 1-2 thousand revisions behind the latest ZDoom).

If there's a feature missing, try finding your way around it (with enough ACS you probably can get around it). If not, just play ZDoom over TCP.

but dont have the lsat updates of zdoom Dark star, anyway i think would to like see it update but take time, is not easy, is not a thing you can do in one day, but it will be update ofc, i would like to see the Gzdoom render in zandronum, because the gzdoom one is more smooth and less laggy but this thing take time,
Whitout a good PC ATM, i will back when 2.0 come out, :)

It would take years to get up to date if we started now.

use hamachi & doom connector, you can play ZDoom mods with your friends that way.

As much as I love new versions as everyone else.. I know the update has to take time, beside rushed projects always are a disaster :P

It would be nice to get these new features, but yea it will take time considering how far we are behind. However, the fact that mappers/modders may require these features, it should get considered to back port these, or whatever the devs do to add these features in.

If people need a feature, I guess they should be asking in the tracker, imo

I was under the impression that it was already in the plans to upgrade the ZDoom base for Zandronum to a later version, but not the very latest because of the need for stability, and likewise for the GZDoom base for the Open GL mode.
