Make spectator walk through impassable lines?
Is there a way to make the Zandronum spectator walk through impassable 2-sided lines? Currently it's not very useful because it can be blocked by various balcony linedefs marked as impassable just so the player won't fall off...

Just mark the flag "Block Players" and make the spectator have a monster flag. This way, players can't get through and the spectator can.
But if it's a cooperative or invasion map, find a way to prevent the monsters from getting to that area.

You could make a crystal sector with an opening 1 unit tall. That would block everything except sound and spectators, and the players' view of what's behind it.

I'm talking about going into game settings and modifying the spectator, not about designing new maps.

FYI, messing with the spectator body is not supported. Even if you find a way to do it now, it may break in the future.fdigl wrote: make the spectator have a monster flag

Somewhat slightly related, kgsws' skulltag build allowed spectators to freely use noclip.
I really should put that on tracker as a suggestion - it makes spectating much more convenient.
