I got 4 different types of hellsmiths to choose from but only one is going to be the next newest monster and I would think that this could be next great addition to the LCA and clusterfuck collection.



Which one would you like for me to create?

You want my advice, take the one from Realm 667. Neither of these 4 is interesting.
Another advice, let lca/clusterfuck die and work on your own project.

This is going to be my own project and I do have the ones from realm667. Plus I have another Minotaur that I have made by hand If you want to see it.

Why not all 4? That would fit the name of that LCA add-on.

Empyre I think it would be an excellent fit and believe me I can make a monster look awesome because I make artwork for a living and plus I have more Minotaur characters that I have made in past before if you are interested in them.

But the problem for me is I'm that not good at the Decorate part and sometimes I need help doing that part.

If I do 1 or all 4 hellsmith/Minotaurs if you can would you guys help me with the decorate part and plus I might need some new addons spirts too if I need them.

I am willing to help, but I might be the best choice because I am still a relative newcomer to coding for Doom, and I have focused on weapons so far. I love learning new things, though, so this could be fun.

Awesome. We could make this a group project but it will take some time to make these hellsmith sprites. I think I'll do the nemesis first then legendarys. It will be fun working with you and anybody else who wants to join in.

I have never looked at Complex Doom's and LCA's code. I guess I am going to need to.

Empyre the nemesis hellsmith sprites are done. If you want me to I can send you my nemesis files to you.

OK. I also need your ideas for what you want the monster to be like. Don't expect speedy results because I will be learning as I go and I have a job taking a lot of my time.

Will Nemesis hellsmith has to be stronger than the nemesis cyberdemon. He needs attacks that is stronger, faster, hits harder, can heal himself or regenerate, Better health. We can make him an friend or foe and he is a minotaur he has to charge or gore his opponents. He can summon other minotaur characters like hell apprentice and hellsmith for his minions.

That's all I can think of for right now. I'll send you my nemesis sprites to you tomorrow and I hate to say this but the hellsmith legendarys my have to be made by somebody else.

I am afraid that you might be right. I might have bitten off more than I can chew. I'll make an attempt at the nemesis hellsmilth anyway, and maybe I'll surprise both of us.

Yes. My plan of attack is to start with the code for the hellsmith as a base, and modify it a lot. I will look at the code for the nemesis cyberdemon to see how it is modified from the base cyberdemon, and then do similar for the hellsmith. I have a day off today, so I will get started on that probably after lunch.

I would go with the "Nemesis Hellsmith" - in my opinion he is the only one of these four who does not look awkward.

The Nemesis Hellsmith is the winner and its currently being worked on right now. The nemesis sprites are done, now it's time to start modifying him. It's going to take some time to finish him but I have one person here that is helping me with the decorate. But I need some help finding some new sound bites for the nemesis hellsmith.

Due to a series of events beyond my control, I lost the entire day. I never got to even look at the code or the sprites.

Don't worry I did some coding on the nemesis hellsmith just to help us out and I tested him but it's still not strong enough yet to past the cyberdemon so theirs alot work more yet to be done.

If you are doing the coding, I could still help by answering questions, helping you fix it if it breaks, helping you figure out how to make it do what you want it to do, and even giving you ideas for what to make it do. If you post the code here when you need help, you can get help from other people in addition to me. Somebody else might see it and help you before I see it.

I need to know if somebody can help me make some new sound bites for the nemesis hellsmith cause I would not have a clue to know how to do that.
