Honestly, I didn't really know him, and I only found now what happened (when TerminusEst13 tried to tell me I had gone to work already). Losing anyone like this is terrible, and it's never good to have to deal with it.

RIP.

I didn't connect to the forums/irc yesterday so i saw this a few minutes ago.
I just can't believe it.
For me, DS will always be a great example of duelist, CTF player and a great example of person.
I won't ever forget his amazing attitude and performances against me, like beating me up with scores like 25x6, 25x3 lmao.

And the day that i beat him for the first time, oh man i felt so badass, but then we dueled again a few minutes later and guess what? he destroyed me hahaha.
And when we dueled to decide who was going to have the biggest ELO at NJ1? LMAO, if u connect today there, u will see SKRH in 2nd place.
Too bad i won't be able to face him again, but i appreciate everything that he taught me and for every single match and all the spanking he gave me haha.

A really chill and funny dude with amazing skills, surely he will never be forgotten.
Of course thats a great loss, but he will always be remembered by every single doomer of this community.

All Hail DS, All Hail Aaron!

RIP DS..

Horrible news, thoughts to his family in this tough time. I didn't know him too well, but from occasional interactions on IRC & elsewhere, I always got the impression he was a really nice, well rounded guy - and very talented doomer. A huge loss to our community.

It is always so sad to see such a kind and loved person go like this, I guess no one could imagine what was going through his head, depression really sucks. I did not know him very well, we had a few TS conversations and lots of CTF/Duel games, but everyone could say he was a really nice person, a great friend and one of the most talented doomers in history.

Don't hold your thoughts to yourself, ask for help. Remember that you do matter, and that you can count on your friends and family for the support you need to get through bad times.

Rest in peace DS, you will be truly missed by all of us.

Its surreal to me that somebody like DS who always hopped on TS cracking jokes and giving us many funny moments, was feeling like there was no other way to escape his troubles other than to commit suicide. As somebody whos seen and have been taught signs of depression from soldiers I've never would have guessed DS to be in that situation. Rest in peace bro.

I always seen the guys name for years but never knew him personally but I knew he was a good player and did his part well in this community.
It really does suck when someone who was influential to the scene passes.
Rest in peace.

I recently heard about this. Damn, this is sad, I did not know much DS but the little I know about him was great. Aside from Doom he was very fun and humble.
I remember once I joined at TS and he was cool as fuck.
Now talking about Doom, he was my favorite player at Duel and I used to watch him playing duels, ctf or even his matchs in youtube (Quakecon's match mostly lol). Some of the times I played against him I used to use "The Guide" as nickname just for fun... I feel very empty right now.

My condolences to all his friends and loved ones.

Wow unbelievable.
Definitely did not expect this, was always a funny chill guy, no ego, and the best player I played with personally.

So sad.
