Hi kiddies,I'm hooooommme!Do you have a phobia that practically sends you into hysteria?Does it make you or anyone else laugh out loud?This is all in fun, but I won't LOL aloud.Let me start: I suffer (?) from ichthyphobia, a fear of fish.I actually went to see a psychologist about it back in the late 70's,but the guy just looked at me,told me it was silly,and snickered.Of course he quit smiling when I let him know I was not amused.I also let him know I bet he was afraid of spiders.What's so funny about all this snakes,spiders,mice etc don't bother me a bit.Is that goofy or what?

I don't know if I'd be scared of big as cockroaches or not,but I'd sure hate to meet one as big as my ass!Never mind how big it is,just remember I'm a *ahem* sweet "little" old lady.

i have OCD so i'm constantly worried about a lot of "irrational" things. like somehow falling into a garbage disposal or getting bitten by a snake that's not even native to these parts. or being "possessed" to do something despicable.

Playing Doom.

I only have one phobia that I know of, that is being scared of heights. I think that's one of the more common phobias though.

I played Amnesia, and now I have an insane phobia of doors.

Spiders and heights, mostly. My basement has some stuff though.

My basement isn't very dry and has no ceiling, and spiders like to build their webs between the exposed support beams. Every time I go down there, I have to duck like a hunchback because I don't want them in my hair.

There are also cave crickets, but I think crickets are cute, and they remind me of the jumpy scenery monsters from Marathon Infinity. They like to jump in your face as you try to get them to move, though, and that's sometimes startling. All my other family members (who have actually encountered them) are afraid of them.

The worst things in my basement are those weird centipede things with long legs. I don't see them that often (thank God), but when they do, it's on a wall and/or near furniture (they crawl out to the rest of the house) that makes them hard to get to. They're terrifyingly quick when disturbed, and more resilient than is desirable, so finish 'em off in one shot if you can. Just be sure to sweep up all the legs, they fall apart when you kill them. I don't know anyone who isn't creeped out by these freaks of nature.


I guess those aren't that ridiculous. I'm not laughing at the fish phobia so much as crying. Can you at least eat fish? Fish is too tasty not to eat. :'(

Heights and commitment.. one very common and the other very silly -funny thingy is all my friends use railings to go from window to window on +9th floor while I can barely look down-..
Another thing I don't know if its a phobia but whenever I do something -say an exam- it keeps bouncing in my thoughts and make me unwilling to repeat anything similar to it for life. (oh well think its commitment again)

I don't think the fish phobia is something to see as a joke.

I know a guy that never had a real fear of anything until one day he decided to see what the whole fiasco about asian carp was about. Apparently when they started jumping out at the boat to attack one was big enough to knock him into the water. Any kind of living fish aside from goldfish (I think he must've owned one or something as a kid) freak him out.

I used to be afraid of heights, but when you have to drive up the mountains with un-safe and unreliable looking railings on the side and the road is thin; you get used to it eventually

I have claustrophobia and my paranoia does play on my mind quite a lot which does get me scared at times.

I see my name being mentioned a lot of times on here. Actually I'm afraid of Spiders aswell I have arachnophobia.

Well,while a fear of fish *shudder* is nothing to lol at,neither are any other phobias.I must admit though,I do lol at some of the weird looks I get.Now that is really something to lol at.

I have a phobia of shitting dick nipples.

At least you don't have to climb up a 114 ft ladder on a regular basis!

Walking around or through neighborhoods or such areas, because of dogs... Even I think it's really, really stupid...
