Hi folks.

Just something a bit different. TSPG is now hosting a minecraft server in case you want something to do.

Currently we are running the Feed the Beast: Infinity Evolved modpack with an extra mod called Better Records.

All of you guys can join if you wanna play some :)

Server Name: ftb.allfearthesentinel.net

Instructions on getting the mod

1. Download the FTB launcher HERE and install it. Works best with 64 bit Java installed if you can.
2. Once loaded, scroll all the way up the modpack list and look for FTB: Infinity Evolved. Double click to install and run
3. Download Better Records from HERE and place the .jar file in the mods folder where your FTB Infinity Evolved install is
4. Run the game and connect to the server. Dont forget to have fun!

I will see about getting a normal minecraft server running 1.8.x as FTB runs on 1.7.10.

Rules are simple really. Just dont mess around with other peoples shit unless your allowed to :)

Looks interesting, never really got into FTB myself but this'll be incentive to try!

It is pretty fun though. It has the whole "machines" aspect, where you need to supply power to things. Its a bit more challenging but fun to play on :D

I think I remember now, I could use some help with getting started though. Mind telling me what hours you're usually on the server?

I'm new to FTB. They sure nerfed the vanilla tools, huh?

BTW, is there a way to actually write something in the vanilla signs?

On weekdays im normally on around 6:30 - 7:00 pm GMT +8 through to when i go to sleep. On weekends you will see me on at random times :P

Yes you should be able to, as you would normally do. Just place em down and you should get a text box to write in.

Its progression based. Most of the players have built a base to start.

Welp, apparently the server is now hosting a version of OpenComputers I can't find anywhere.

YES! I CAN FINALLY DO THIS IN A SERVER!

MiFU I advise that you backup the world files periodically if you want to counter trolling attempts.

It's also just good practice in general to back up things. Once on our server we learned to be thankful for our back ups. We had a meteor mod enabled for fun which had special resources and stuff. What we didn't know is that there was a small chance by default for a meteor storm to take place. It just so happened to take place directly on a giant complex the entire server was working on for several weeks.

You should back up your server like every 24 hours. Trust me, I used to run some myself.

Automatic backups are a thing for this so dont worry. Im covered :D
