Most annoying thing that's happened to you on a game?

I'm only starting this off-topic thread because I'm pissed off at minecraft. I built a three-storey man-cannon. It worked, I was reloading it with the switch OFF, but then one piece went off and blew the whole bloody structure sky-high. Anyone else felt like this towards a game for any particular reason?

Wing Commander Saga. The mission was over; some station blew up, and I was hanging back watching the explosions. "Keep up, Dorothy!" Okay, I'll be there in a sec. "You're on your own, Dorothy!" WTF. My wing was just gone. They hadn't even flown out of sight. They don't even have jump drives! Worst fail ever.

Ooh another one is X2: The Threat. You fly through tight spaces to dock at the stations. Crashing in one of those when you're trying to land to save the game after you did something big made me go ape a couple of times :x

Playing Call of Duty MW3 campaign for a 2nd time, but this time on the hardest difficulty, doing fairly well, then my GFX card overheats and I gotta start over.

This basically means that I gotta clean out the heatsink on my GPU :P

I had that happen when building the second Derp cannon. Took several hours of work, nearly had it done and then one stray wire lit a TNT. Couldn't disarm it, either.

I got so heated. About 30 deaths on the last challenge. Plus, you have to complete them all in one sitting.

This probably isn't the most annoying thing that's ever happened to me, but it's the first one I can think of:

A couple years back I bought Fallout: New Vegas for PS3. I liked Fallout 3 and all, and it was $20 brand new, so I figure why not? I get home, pop the game in my console, and get started. I make my character, do some of the opening bullshit, and finally get to where I'm free to explore the Wasteland. The NPCs all tell me, "Oh you should go south, to Primm", so naturally, I go north, telling myself that I'll do the storyline a bit later - it was time for exploration. Then, suddenly, I get jumped by about 6 of these fucking things. I died almost instantly. So I loaded up my save, and decided I'd go farther east first, then go north. And guess what I walked into? A canyon filled with fucking Deathclaws.

I was pretty pissed.

This shit. Very first mission, scripting went awol. There were landmines every other step, and an infinite number of badguys that came around the corner.

Was on an AOW server ran by some asshole (there were still many ppl there, though) and ran rampant on everyone with an SSG. Seriously, it was my best and longest round ever, I just ran and shot everyone in sight, killing in 1 shot. i was at a 49(!) frag killing spree when I got banned with the reason "Get your hacker ass out of my server" -.-
For non-Doom things, it was playing Action 52 at a friend's house on Nintendo NES. That game is just...well, google it and see for yourself.

About TF2 - spending three seconds flat trying to torch up a teammate, seeing no effect, thinking "well this guy is certainly not a spy", turning around and instnatly getting backstabbed by that very guy who you just spent three seconds trying to torch up.
Or getting ubercharged with Kritzkrieg, shooting a grenade at some heavy, scoring a direct hit and seeing it do... 6 damage. 6. Mother fucking 6.

What wins though: About any game with a sniper rifle in general(bonus points if it is a railgun) - that moment when you see an opportunity for a very good shot(low-risk multikill level good), line it up perfectly, and the moment before shooting you... sneeze. Your shot goes skywards, the enemies quickly take cover and if they have managed to figure out where you are they start barraging your position. All because your flu is a bitch.
