Please help a displaced Doomworld refugee.

I had heard that Doomworld was losing its domain or something but today I went to log on and the website is just... gone. There's nothing. No letter, or explanation, just a crummy search engine. I'm so hurt and scared. I've lost contact with everyone on the website. Can someone here point me in the right direction? I'm cold and hungry (not that it has anything to do with Doomworld being offline) and I just want some assurance that everything will be alright.

Ling is dealing with it atm, in the meantime try http://doom.world instead of http://www.doomworld.com or remove the www (although i'm not sure if you can post on the forum and following links atm is a real pain)

Krispy, I'm glad you're experiencing and learning "the easy way" that things like this happen on the internet. Sites can disappear for any reason, at any time, without warning. This is why I record/log as much as possible, before the site suddenly goes away. People should prepare for this possibility, and mirror the site as much as possible.

Thank you for the PSA but Doomworld has already been backed up and mirrored by the people running it.
