I started in 2006 too, but on ZDaemon. Didn't come over to Skulltag till 2010 I think.

2002. I remember when the big three were ZDaemon pre-0.99, csDoom and Skulltag. Stayed on ZDaemon until 06, then joined Skulltag in 09.

Early 2009 here. Can't believe it's been that long :V

Chose this over S4 League at the time (the thing most people I knew online were playing, a couple (Legion being one of them) found Skulltag at the same time), I think I made the right decision since S4 turned to pay to win hell after a couple years.

For me, I believe mid 2007. I don't really remember much when I first started.

I don't remember exactly when I started playing Skulltag, but it was years before Zandronum, and years after I started playing ZDaemon. Before that, Doom had always been a single-player game for me.
I tried to look in the Skulltag forums to see when I joined, but they don't work: "flagged as crashed." I joined the ZDaemon forums December 13, 2006. I found in my downloads folder installer97d3.exe dated May 29 2009, so that is the earliest date I have for Skulltag. I also found zdaemon10801-setup.exe dated April 29, 2006. I think that's the date I downloaded it, not the day it was made.

2006, when there were a tons of actif clans the competition was really present.

Somewhere between 2004-2005, back in the ZDaemon days.

Late 2009/early 2010 for me. Only played one or two online mods mind you.

2006-2007, skulltag era. Barely missed out on 96f era.
