Hi.
I loved filming and photography since i was a teen, i never really realized my obsession with cameras and randomly taking pictures until the past few years.
I'm not a professional, and my camera is quite bad compared to what's out there, but i make the best i can with what i've got.
My posts will include nature and landscapes for the most part. Any tips, thoughts & ideas are much appreciated.
I'll keep posting regularly as i can until i catch up with my current.
Enjoy, if you like.
Alrighty then, I'm starting with left-overs from 2010 & 2011
2010
Notes:
*That fat frog though.. Pregnant perhaps? ..
2011
Notes:
* The first giant lake shot was during a trip by car. It is still one of my favorite shots..
* The tree is struck by lightning! It isn't the best focused quality picture, I didn't pay attention to that at the time.. But it's still something that was cool to see in real life
* The ducks shot are from the same location as the tree.

It's interesting to see these giant, concrete blocks made out of prefabricated slabs in some other country than just the former east bloc. I didn't know they were popular anywhere else.

they are pretty much everywhere even in the west-euro still common, its not that suprising realy. they cost almost half of what a regular house costs (or cheap rent) and not everyone is married or likes to maintain a garden. heh.

Around where I live they don't build them like that anymore. They still build these big, residential blocks with apartments, but they don't resemble the old prefabricates anymore. Not from the outside, nor from the inside. Actually, some of the apartments that they build now resemble Bauhaus WAD more than the east bloc prefabs. I think the last of such buildings were built here about 20 years ago, maybe even (a lot) more.

@Zalewa Do you mean the last picture from 2010? those were built in 1971-1975 so quite old yes.
@Ivan Well, i could link you to that other thread if you want

j/k
@Kara Kurt All pictures are taken in Sweden, that picture is not Pripyat, it's Södertälje
2012
Notes:
* Hmm not much from 2012, that sky picture though, possible Doom texture?

Some of those look decent. I'm no expert at photography either, but its fun pastime. I took a few when I was on vacation last week, but phone cameras aren't then the best quality.

moving on..
2013 take 1
Notes:
* That's when i started taking my time with landscape pictures and experiencing, particularly on that sunset location, it holds an emotional memory for me

and.. i visited often afterwards.. to have sort of an emotional release

..and it kinda merged with filming..
* Skiing marks of people skiing on the frozen lake. Second picture is me being silly

you could see how thick the snow is, and below is another thick layer of frozen water obviously.
* No, that's not my cato

he's my uncle's.
* All pictures are clean and unedited.
