Isn't this the 2nd time he's been caught hacking after previously being unbanned?

This is why I urge people not to unban hackers, because scenarios like this and the kal foxis / shadowfoax happen.

Though it's not WH, it was lag causing this and it's proven.

That's some weird lag. And if it was, why would he look at the wall for so long? (There's another video here)

He pinged/spiked over 700 when it happened. He might have gotten a connection interrupted on top of that or the "Aim falls down bridge" bug.

Even if you're wallhacking you can see walls.

Ping... or rather lag, does not work that way. When you spike, everything around you stops; including you. I know this because whenever watermelon or myself upload something, our ping spikes to 900+ and everything jitters in place & neither of us can move. The player he was locking onto was moving freely afterwards, yet the UDP packet rebound would show him as either teleporting away very fast or just vanishing outright.

Your argument does not provide any valid reason or explanation as to why he is able to snap right to the person holding the flag and move while doing it. Notice how his aim snaps to the player and then rebounds out to his right instantly? Thats clearly an aimbot, it's a common trait. I've been busting them with Watermelon in GVH for a long time and they *all* look like that. If you want to even take it one step further... you can see that in all his other shots he doesn't do the jerky movement. In addition if you claim there to be packet loss from the player, then it would register more than him just shooting, the packets would just be outright dropped.

Let someone who is speaks from experience tell you that this is not lag. This is in fact hacking. Saying it's just ping is a substandard argument with no real logic to back up such a ridiculous claim.

One thing Mobius brought up was that he could have technically lagged out and seen under the bridge. If he was only using a wallhack, this case would have to be denied because it really could just be him lagging out.

Though the fact he did the snap thing as posted above by Tor is a big red-handed thing. I bust these people in AOW, GVH, DM...etc all the time, this is *EXACTLY* what they do.
Again, for Dragon and Wario... I completely agree with you on the lag part since I believe its possible as well, I just don't trust how he snapped and then snapped back to the left (a common mistake people see with inexperienced aimbotters is to do that). I've seen hundreds of demos of them.

Great point to bring up though about the lag, I think most people don't know that servers can cause you to lag under the bridge and it really does look like someones wallhacking.

I experienced this in first hand too, listen to the Mentalist himself and stop clogging the clan thread with a hackers bullshit, just ban him and be done with it

Wow... It's not lag it's pretty obvious that he shot somebody and he goes on. I used to lag like shit but i wouldn't stay looking at the wall. It's so obvious

There's a few things that don't add up after reviewing the demo:

1. He is aiming down based on his aim at the top. If you truly lag out and appear at the bottom, you would aim upwards.

2. When you hack, you cause major desyncing to the server (which would induce lag spikes as seen), notice how everything else runs smooth? Also when you fire and no shots come out from lagging (myself and Rangle tested it by uploading on my end and seeing what a true lagspike does), you see nothing come out and you're aiming up. Plus it's hard to see the location as well from down there. It doesn't add up.

3. Later in the demo you see him doing varying lock-on's to people with this snap/hacky tracer technique, yet when he doesn't use it, his aim is horrid.

Based on all of this, he's just an aimbot toggler. He enabled the aimbot to attack the player (while being above the bridge based on his view pointing downwards on the first shot, which you just would not do if you were truly lagging and went under the bridge) and also explains the spike you see because aimbots cause quick spikes. When you truly do desync and lose packets, it takes a while to catch up, but there was no UDP overflow catchup that you get. Notice how the announcer continues on? If he spiked, the packets would come in late. Plus everything goes on as normal, whereas when you get a major lag spike everything starts jittering or teleports away.

Plus later on in the demo he does his 'lock on's to various players.

I have to agree with Watermelon, after going in the server and testing it out, I am convinced he is a cheater. Point number 1 is enough for me because it's obvious how he was suppose to be shooting but instead locked on when he was up top for the first shot, and then he started aiming upwards for the second shot (since the flag carrier was a bit upwards according to how he was supposedly lagging through the bridge).

Nice research, i stand corrected!

Although.. If you aimbot, height wise your aim will snatch on to the waist of the player. First shot he hits the head, second shot is WAY above that. AFAIK the current(and only?) aimbot cannot turn off height lock on.

My point about "You can see walls when you wallhack" still stands too, either Slaerd is extremely dumb for not noticing that wall or his aim actually did fell down.

I'm still in doubt.

Catastrophe, are you racist ? Oh and by the way, I didn't cheat. I totally understand that you accuse me (look at thoses 2 shots god). But Infact, I didn't. Did one of you ever lagged on a bridge ? Well, It makes your Point of view go under the bridge. (Example : When you lag in MAP04 you can see what's in the sewers). That's what happened to me. It's possible but, why didn't I aimed up on the 1st shot and I did on the 2nd one ? You say it's cause the aimbot aims from your real position. But If I didn't hack, how is this possible ? For me, Either I toggled Freelook off, Either I suck. But the most believable is that I suck, cause I can't toggle Freelook on that fast to do the second shot (It's on mouse3). After the second shot the lag stopped, My view was back on bridge and I moved backward to run after Phobos. (Don't ask why I didn't go on right, that's cause I'm dumb.)
That's my version, believe it or not.
Ah and, Water, you say I also hacked the whole match. Seriously, I didn't lock on players. That's just my aim. Phobos is just too predictable.

Still doesn't explain how you were able to move and turn during lag. Something we easily proved (with Water & me uploading) to be impossible at your ping spike. That and there were other accounts in the demo not shown in the video's posted that clearly suggest you stopped to inject the hacks while toggling the aimbot against certain people; people at your skill level typically don't "snap" on to players. There is simply just too much evidence against it.

I can back him up about the lag on bridges/actors. It does happen, not every time though. But much more often with higher pings.
It can be very misleading and horrible. Especially as your movement starts to jump around until you get off the actors.

Now we know that what happened near the wall is totaly legit. (My both shots we're aimed up : http://imgur.com/I124C http://imgur.com/XlfY9 and Wallhack shows wall, I'm not that dumb to not notice it.)
And now I'm accused of aimbot, I need proofs please.

1. http://imgur.com/I124C , http://imgur.com/XlfY9 , aiming down?? His aim went up at both shots. At the first shot he swinged back to strafe towards the flag carrier, he wasn't aware at that moment that he was experiencing the "aim below bridge" bug.

2. Using the aimbot will cause very minimum desyncing and it will rarely ever cause the ping to go up. I've never had this with catching other cheaters such as Ten, Demon, Dr. Noob and Reck. Slaerd did not spike(yes i made a mistake on my first post), he had a stable 700 ping, i had the same problem today on GV, my ping stayed on 500 for a short moment but i wasn't desyncing at all, all my shots came out.

3. A VERY BOLD statement, the demo provided only has his horizontal aim, his vertical aim wasn't registered in the demo. You can pull this statement on anyone, everyone has it's moments when it looks like they snap on to someone if you can only see their horizontal aim.

Then there's my other 2 statements that still stand.
- The aimbot locks on vertically on the waist, it does not happen on the video.
- You can see walls when your wallhacking, do you really think it took Slaerd 6 seconds to notice that there is a wall?

Last but not least there's another thing i noticed, when Slaerd fell down, he waited a moment. Why? Because his "fallen down aim" had to "fix" itself.

I mean really, the only valid point you can still bring up right now is that he supposedly "locked on" throughout the demo, how can you tell that he locked on when your only able to see his horizontal aim? That means we could practically ban half of the community for aimbotting!
