Zandronum

Yes I know the question should be: "How did you come to Zandronum" But I guess the answer would be the same: I came from Skulltag.


I came to Skulltag thanks to MM8BDM first official release, when I installed doomseeker (because it was more comfortable than adding the extras wads with its launcher) I saw a lof of doom2.wad server and I decided to join those servers.

Came to skulltag in it's .95 days, when it was really buggy. Thanks to some doom topics at doomworld, etc..

In 2006-7 I was really bored at a college dorm when I decided to see how many people were dooming online. I already knew about zdoom back then. Played some coop, had some fun, but then some game I don't even remember came out so that combined with playing timesplitters with my room mate killed off any dooming I was doing then. Got back to skulltag randomly in the summer of '08.

Pretty much been here since, just not loudly.

I found it when I wanted to get Doom, I got it, turns out it didn't have a console (I watched alot of youtube), and that I needed Skulltag for it. Thats how I got it.

Found it after getting bored with Jdoom, googled "Multiplayer Doom". Saw Zdaemon, ignored because it looked old, buggy and outdated, especially the website at the time.

Saw Skulltag 96f with all its features, and have played it ever since then. I remember when GvH and AOW1 were just coming out, and everyone went full retard on the forums about it.

Came from Zdaemon in 2010. I was tired of Zdaemon's terrible unlagged and crashes, and a lot of people talked about this thing 'Skulltag'. Got curious to try it back, and kind of deserted Zdaemon since then :)

Came from zdaemon. Played back in 2010 and played ghoul2 until someone told me about ghouls vs humans so I switched to skulltag just to play it.

Zdaemon failed so I tried SkullTag which turned out to be better.
(Zdaemon doesn't want me there, anyway...)

Was messing around doom builder configuration files in early 2009 and found the "skulltag" config, with all of it's new items and stuff. Decided to check it out. Here I am, magically.

Interestingly enough, I came to Strife the very same way :P

A friend of mine who went by Nora in 2009, and after that Legion.

I saw Real Guns Advanced 2 and Super Skulltag which both caught my attention.

Back in 2006 played some type of Doom2 launcher, Vanilla styled online and offline. From that a friend told me about Skulltag, and loved it. Dont remember what wad I started with buy I do remember winning my first game ever was the first skulltag game I played.

After playing it in dos I was all like "Man, I wonder if there are players online", I pretty much just googled "Doom online" and Skulltag came up, I think it was around 2008 or so, but yeah

ONE DAY IGOR WAS SITTING IN CASTLE ZANDRONUM DUNGEON, AND HEARD LOUD NOISES UPSTAIRS! SO IGOR GO INVESTIGATE, AND FIND ENTIRE CASTLE WAS REPURPOSED OVER NIGHT INTO DOOM SOURCE PORT.

FOR SOME REASON, IGOR NEVER KICKED OUT AND ALLOWED TO STAY!

Looked around on the internet and found the ST port for doom some time in 2009. Been lurking ever since.

there was some drama back in year whatever and also IDL coop. oh and i wanted to try st's rjumping but it was not to my liking.

Came about in 2007. A friend I used to speak to told me about this port. It's the first online port I've played and have been enjoying ever since.

Nevanos: Do I happen to know of this friend?

Came about... some time I forget when. I know it was during the 97d days, when rjump2v5 (it's on rjump2v6 now, by the way) was out. Still remembered playing map16 and wondering what the hell I was supposed to do.
