17. Played some Doom back in younger days (old zdoom). Found skulltag when I was like 11-12, stopped for awhile, came back when I was 15 to Zandronum.

Playing Doom since 1998 on my PsX, when I was 8. Doom was my first console game.
10 years later in 2008 I've discovered the PC version. Once again, that game was also my first computer game.

I'm 15, and I plain really enjoy shooting demons. Started Skulltag/Zandronum when I was 13, and starting modding when I was 14.

I'm 20. I was born 19 days before Doom was released, and started playing it like 6-7 years after. Was i created for Doom or Doom created to me?

I am 18. My father introduced me to Doom when I was 5 years old. Doom was my first game ever.

15... Found out Doom when I was 11, becouse there was a Shadow Warrior demo on a CD and my pc came from 1998.
So I started to search more games like Shadow Warrior, wich brought me to doom (And some other oldies).

I am currently 18. I discovered DooM during my Middle School years. They gave us some really crappy little apple laptops. I wanted to play some games on them, and thus I discovered DooM. Sadly DooM was not my first PC game (that would be Jedi Knight 2: Jedi Outcast) However, I have enjoyed DooM. A lot. The only other game that I have sunk more hours into might be tf2.

I'm currently 20 years old and I'll be 21 in less than 5 months. I've been playing Doom since '97 when I was around 4 years old. I remember the good 'ol days playing Doom95 on my dad's laptop.
On average, I think there the age range of people who are part of the online doom community are between the ages of 25-29. I have interacted with plenty of people in the 30's though. The oldest was 43.

24. Started off with a shareware version of Heretic, which also had Doom and Hexen on it... Shareware that is. Was like one big CD-ROM of old shareware things. Felt like looking online versions of them and then stumbled upon ZDaemon first and now on Zandronum.
