Around 20. Before I started Skulltag last November, I played some scattered vanilla DooM a few years before. I was more of a Marathon person back then, but now I'm open to either.

Aye, 16, started playing Doom when I was 4, then eventually started playing Doom 3 when I was 9 after watching my Dad play it [though I could never get past the 4th level cause I'd be too scared to play it any longer] Eventually found Skulltag around Middle school and have been playing it ever since.

Whitout a good PC ATM, i will back when 2.0 come out, :)

18. Been playing Doom since my family's first PC back in 99. Yes, I was 5 years old playing Doom, eventually Doom II and then Final Doom (Plutonia & TNT). It always scared the shit out of me so I of course played on IDDQD until I hit puberty. To this day, I still have nightmares about Cyberdemons.

Tower of Babel's MIDI was an absolute haunting to me :x
Aragorn Based God I still got the mithril.

Is it bad that I thought I was probably the youngest here before this thread?

Same as Mathayus. 24 due to be 25 in August. New games lack the speed and grim feeling that DOOM 1/2 and Heretic/Hexen invoke. By grim I mean the feeling that you can run away, but that doesn't mean you can survive or win. Half-Life 1 feels very similiar to DOOM which is why I like it a lot still as well.

Probably not. I honestly wouldn't let age get to you in that regard.

This game is 3 years older than me. Yay!

By the way, found Doom in Debian repos (in 2005 or 2006, I think). Before that I've only played Hexen, Heretic and Freedoom (the good old 0.4 version, which had ultra-cool MAP02, now replaced with some brown goo; they say the map is moved to somewhere in middle of the wad, i dunno lol).

Currently 26 years old. First time playing Doom was when Doom 2 came out, when our tiny elementary school got an upgraded computer lab. And sure enough, every computer in the back row had the Doom demo on it. Been playing the games ever since.

16 years old, and I played SNES DooM when I was 4 - 5, and I played it on the computer ever since then. I started playing online in 2006 - 2007, though.

Which is funny, because I had Windows 95, but didn't have Doom.

On topic: 19 years of age, going on 20 in less than ten months from now.

I recently became 17 a couple weeks ago. I first played Doom 2 on DOS when I was around 3 years old. I found Skulltag when I was in 5th grade I think.
