Ever joined a late game [any game] and saw that your team was being devasted? So you put your try-hard panties on and carry your team through hell to victory at the very last minute?
Yea those stories are usually the best. So post 'em here!

I do remember one round in GvH:NS... Teams were: humans about 6 guys, ghouls 2 newbies (I knew they are newbies because their nicks were in default color... lol) and wins were humans 4, ghouls 0... I joined ghouls as frosty, and then started ripping their souls...They started qqing about how do I cheat and they started stacking like true noobs... Ghouls won 5 to 4, my frags were 29 :D

Happened a few weeks ago playing Battlefield 3:

> find helicopter
> 2 tickets left each on each team
> ram helicopter
> MFW we win with 1 ticket

For me, this just about happens all the time when I join an online match on COD4, WAW, or MW2.

During a clanwar between A3 and MS, everyone in A3 died but me. So I prayed to Vectorus the lord of victory to grant me strength, then I swooped down from my mountain to avenge my brothers.

That's fine, TTA but you're about a few days late.

I had a cool story, once. In one game (not Doom related).

That was Team LMS, I've selected the most rarely used class, medic. Medic has got lowest hp (VERY LOW), but he has got abillity to heal self and others. I was staying back a bit, healing everybody who returned for heal to me, and I found out that everybody in my team except me is dead. There was 4 alive players in enemy team. I was sure I will die and my team will lose. However...

First of them came, he shot me a bit, but I shot him more and he died. I've healed myself, and another guy was coming, and yet another after. I've killed them both. I was low on ammo, had only ammo for pistol and melee weapon. Fourth guy came. Killed him. Won match. LOL.

One day playing TLMS in a game that i don't remember the name (A bit of strategy but it was a FPS mixed up), we was with 10 guys on my team and 7 on the enemy team. THE GOD DEMM GUYS ARE FU***** PROS, they killed 8 of my team with 4 lefting on their team, me and friend (LAN connection) was togheter, he was support and me assault, the 4 guys lefting, 2 of them came after us and spooted us, they called the rest of the team to kill us, my friend grabbed some mines and was planting on the door, i was covering him, when they get on the room, 3 of them exploded, and the 1 left he was "scared or low HP" or something like that and gived up of going in the room.
He jumped off the building and grabbed a sniper, me and my friend was searching for him, when, from the nothing my friend died with a headshot, (He was on my front... AWESOME!) i grabbed and throwed a granade and it bumped on a wall and exploded on his back. He falled the building and "i" won the game!
(THIS IS THE TRUE TEAM WORK BITCHAS!)

Well there isn't much of epicness to tell but here's the story.

UT2004, CTF. I join in, and get auto-shovn in the red team. And oh god, there were so much people on my side with great duel reputation, I actually never managed to beat any of them. I felt quite unworthy to be a part of this epic team. And the enemy team mostly consisted of noobs and people I don't know, so I immediately thought that the victory shall be ours.

In next two minutes I was almost crying. We have lost 5:0 because of the most stupid reason possible. My team was truly epic - those guys almost didn't get fragged, but "flag? What flag? I don't know what kind of 'flag' you're talkin' about!". And OF COURSE, when I heroically breaked in and stole the flag, I returned to the base only to realise that our flag is somewhere in the distant fairy lands.

Well shit. Nevertheless, on next match, I decided to achieve victory to the team, covering my mates' stupidity by their own combat skills and my tactical advices. My "tactical advices" were simple - I just ordered my mates to do what they can best - mindlessely charge at the enemy base and rape everything that dares to move. And don't leave a single thing out of there. They actually did a good job - while I was camping at the flag, stacking on health, ammo, adrenaline and RL ammo, I only had to kill one enemy.

When I got 199 hp and 100 adrenaline purely on vials and pills, I rocketjumped out of the building straight to the sky, quickly tapped the speed combo, and ran like hell, completely ignoring anyone shooting me.

OH GOD I THINK I'VE BEATEN THE WORLD RECORD OF 1HP SURVIVES THERE

We won 5:2. After that, some of the enemies ragequitted, auto-balance kicked in, and the game returned into it's more 'normal' flow. I am still very proud of that hell-run.
