Looks like YouTube is going to have a big change that may put Let's Play channels in trouble. Videos have to be approved before it becomes publicly visible.

And we thought Google+ was something we wouldn't get over...
Final nail in the coffin, they say. SOPA, they say.
I wonder if this will make it to the top of the list in the Internet Archives if it goes through.

Meh, gonna upload videos in unlisted and post them in my Tumblr. If that doesn't work either, to blip.tv it is!

Hmmm....I forsee this being 10 times the headache it's worth for Google. Honestly, if it's bad enough they face mass boycott by gamers, who are a significant portion of their advertising base. I was preparing to move to another service if SOPA or PIPA had happened but now I believe it's to be prepared just in case.
Edit: It's most likely going to be focused on monetized accounts, but given who those content generators are it will affect all of us.

If it's so important to eradicate the independent third-party advertisers that earn their bills through monetizing their videos of things that are not entirely theirs, then why is it a better thing to do that instead of taking a little slice of their revenue and giving it to the product owners instead of blocking the content?

... But you just did. And therefore defeated your stated cause of "destroying bob FOR-EVER!!! to internet" by propagating him even further.
