Does anyone know how to get sounds working in Blood via DosBox?
I have played it in win2000, XP and DosBox but sounds have never worked. And I have downloaded from other sources so it's not the game.

Be sure you configured your sounds in Setup properly. (Correct IRQ, DMA, Soundcard etc)

I know how to do that, but it does not help. It can't find card for effect sounds. Though music card was correctly configured and tested but in-game didn't work.

Are you sure you are using the most up-to-date DosBox ? Even if not, I can tell it works with 0.74 as that's what I use.

It was the setup. I really spent some time testing all possibilities.
Fixed errors now work :)

Can someone please update ZBlood and bring back alt fire for weapons, add the missing weapons + maps, and a few physics from the original Blood?
Im a true fan of it but it seem like that project has had no progress for a while.

There was this ZBloodX and I was working on it, but I realized there are just so many missing features in Zandronum it is not even worth releasing at this point, which is kinda why I didn't make a project thread for it. I don't know, if there are mappers out there who wish to map for it I guess I could release it with a couple new maps, I don't know.

Well I know theres some guys who go on TeamSpeak and IRC who pretty good at mapping and just release a nice Wolf3D DM pack. I'd be a beta tester, host files and supporter if you need bro. Since getting into recording videos and video editing, I would try to do my part with dat and promoting as well.
Once a solid version of Zandronum is release, I'll also make a doom blog as well.

Thanks for the kind offer but as I said, I need to wait for a newer release so I can use those features to make the AI of the monsters better. However, this doesn't mean one can't make maps for it, if anyone wants to they can just send me a PM on here or IRC though.

I remember that I have played ZBlood that had most of the maps and all alt weapons.
