Hello,

Now I'm just looking for some good games like amnesia.
These games are called '' Psychological Horror'' And I like them alot,so I decided to make a post about these said games.
This way everyone could share their experiences / Favorite game.

And now dont go and tell me Left 4 dead or Black ops :zombie. These games are faaar from being a bit scary. Real Horror games are the Games like amnesia where you feel so much vulnerable and hopeless

So my favorite horror game is simply : Call Of Cthulhu : Dark Corners of the earth (thats a really long title) I really like the feeling of the game, I like how people look at you,Everything is scary,Even jack, the game's Protagonist. I really apreciated the healing system, It made the game so much more complex and difcult,there also a sanity system,and its 100 times more terifying than in Amnesia. You get real hallucination and your character hear weird things.

I also played :

• Thief: The dark project
• Undying
• Amnesia and the Penumbra series

If you're a fan of the slender series, I'd recommend Project Haunt, and Slender: The Arrival. Haunt has a very good atmosphere to it as well as detail, though it follows a similar "collect x" trend.

If you like 'atmosphere' more than 'graphics', I highly reccomend games like "Ib", "Witch's house", "Mad Father" and "Yumme Nikki" (tho Yumme Nikki shouldn't be called a game, but a simulator)

Funny enough the scariest game I've ever seen HAS to be "Ju-on the grudge" for the Wii.

Imscared: A Pixelated Nightmare if you like fourth-wall breaking and mind screw.

Along those ones, you could also try out Ao Oni.

Forbidden Siren used to shit me up. Also I really wanna play "Rule of Rose" for ps2 though apparently it's quite rare.

The slender series aint bad,Tho its not my kind of game,Its way too simple (both the scenario and the gameplay) and after 15 minutes of playing its gets boring. Same for project haunt, Theres just no scenario.

silent hill for horror, SCP: Containment breach for horror if you don't fear crashes
for scary WADs i'd recommend ghouls for quick time scariness and unloved for feeling of terror
you can always play some roguelikes like nethack; you see c and you panic

Hahaha silent hill is rather good,scp too. Scp is really distrubing

hm, i see you want game that make you feel panic, desperation, etc. ATM only amnesia gave me that feel, most the last part, where you had to collect all pieces for that thing, that fucking maze with the monster... but TBH maybe Silent Hill is for you =P

And If your looking for a similar experience as amnesia, You should Really try Call Of Cthulhu, Its better than Amnesia (Its MY opinion..) and really make you feel nervous in some chapter of the game. Though the graphics are from 2005, The game is still really fun

*facepalm*.....

Also, try "Dream of the Blood Moon". It's almost the same as slendy games, except that main antagonist doesn't randomly appear, just walks to and fro.
