Meh, I don't know about this one. Strange design, similar to the Wii one, but if it's able to run ps3 games, I suppose I'll give it a try. And how about that Xbox one?

The Xbone is a pile of shit considering all of the things I've heard about it :(

xbox one is pretty bad. You can't play 360 games and you gotta pay money to borrow games from your friends.
Welp Kingdom Hearts III was previewed, that sealed the deal for me.

Xbox 360 =
PowerPC
PS3 =
Cell
Xbox One =
x86_64
PS4 =
x86_64
PowerPC != x86_64
Cell != x86_64

Pretty much this. There's a game I've been wanting to play, but I wouldn't want to dish out 200+ on a ps3 if a ps4 could play them as well.

From an article
It has been officially confirmed that the Playstation 4 will not support Playstation 3 games natively.
oshida concedes that this is possible for PlayStation 4 supporting legacy PlayStation consoles as well. Indeed, the Gaikai presentation during PlayStation 4’s reveal touched on this “everything, everywhere” mentality. But for now, downloaded PS3 games won’t work “unless, somehow, some games work on emulation. And the easiest thing,technically, would be to make PSone games work on PS4 with emulation.

PS4 has Xbox One beat into the ground.
Hopefully we can see a good, strong fight between Nintendo and Sony this generation, it's not really interesting if one console simply dominates everything else. I'll be getting a PS4 but I have hopes for Nintendo to do well too.
I like the throwback design the PS4 does to PS2's appearance. Playstation 2s were the best looking systems, both in physical appearance and system navigation.

Thus the joke.
But yeah, compared what Microsoft is putting up as far as policies go...PS4 looks to be waaaay more appealing. I will probably wait awhile before looking into getting a console though. None of the titles shown were really that compelling to me aside from Gran Turismo (hurf durf I like cars). Though I haven't had much time to sit down and watch a lot of the stuff shown thus far.

"Just now from E3: PS4 supports used games! "PS4 won’t impose any new restrictions on your use of PS4 game discs. PS4 disc-based games don’t need to be connected online to play. If you enjoy single-player games offline, PS4 won’t require you to 'check in' online periodically. PS4 games won’t stop working if you haven’t authenticated in 24 hours.”

^ I'm getting real tired of the gaming industry crying piracy over titles they haven't sold in 15 years. Most of the time it's not even the developers that are complaining, it's the publishers who can't make shit on retail after a game has been out for 5 years. If console games start running $80 retail, I'm not getting a console.
