I like Archviles most, but they seem to sentient to be pets...
Cacodemons are the cutest of them all, but I would say Pinky. For unknown reason my siblings and me used to call them little horses and I kinda remember them this way. Also, they cannot team kill and would be only of monsters managing to match your walking tempo.
Actually, there is a Pinky (unfortunately D3 one) as a pet for Xbox avatars...

I've currently got a mancubus in the garage, but he is growing pretty fast and again I have to hire a contractor.
I had been feeding him dark imps, but they dont really make them anymore-I just buy a cyberdemon and divide it into 64 parts. The cleanup is a big problem but the savings are absolutely capital. If it starts to smell too much, don't toss it in the thresher. You can sell like half the limbs to recycling facilities. take the money & you can probably get a crate of imps without putting a dent on your wallet

Edit : Also people saying pinkies don't harm each other, I remember them being able to harm each other for some reason before a patch hmmm..

From the other side, Archvile pet may be best. He will kill all your enemies and resurrect them as your friends...

So, Doom: I'd say a Baron, but how would you give it a place to sleep or keep it from getting angry and ripping some poor sap (including you) apart?

Zombies would just stink up the place and try to bite you or your visiting family whenever they get the chance

Lost Soul/PE/Imp = Burn your house down on the first day, no question about it

A caco would be too fat to keep in your house, and then fly around eating birds and scaring the next door's little kids to death as their dad has to wipe the combined splattered bird blood/poo off their windows every day

A Pinky would just be too dumb to live and smash all of your things and shit all over your house, but it's not like dogs are any different

Revenants? Hope your house has some seriously tall ceilings, I don't think they'd appreciate being kept in a doghouse

Mancubus would either smash apart your floors and doorframes or your yard, your choice (and good luck affording the weekly food bills)

Arachnotron would be fun to keep outside, but have fun paying the electrical and mechanical maintenance bills (it'd probably also be a total dick about how smart it thinks it is)

Archviles are too smart and would resent being kept as a pet and probably kill you in your sleep in a blaze of hate and pain

I never thought of this while picking PE lol..well there is a lot of encounters with lost souls in wooden areas so I dunno if they can actually burn stuff -and no damage for hugging them-
