Right so.. I have this Sentry HMM10 headset. Brand spanking new and sounds great.... the only problem is for some reason the left audio plays out of the right speaker and vice versa.. and it's incredibly annoying.

Windurrs doesn't pick it up so I can't update it if it even can be updated as it's just your average 3.5mm jack plugin headset.

Any clues?

(And no I'm not wearing the stupid thing backwards.. it wasn't even designed for that usage either.)

Apparently some soundcard drivers might have an option that allows you to inverse it within the control panel. Otherwise, each program you're using might have the feature.

Don't take my word on this but audio equipment is usually pretty basic, you could probably do some rewiring heh

Don't have tools to rewire them. And I assure you I never played with any settings at all because I tested this with earbuds and they worked just fine.

From a desktop or a laptop?
If from a desktop: does it have a front panel output connection and is the connection used by the headset?
If it is open your pc and invert the jumper which connects the motherboard to that audio output and tell us if it worked.

1. are you completely 105 and a half percent sure that you are wearing HPs like you should?
2. try virtualizing headphones?
3. switch panels?
4. try to mess with sound channels?
5. reinstall drivers?
6. if reinstalling drivers does nothing, mess with control panel?

Is it a doom only problem?
