My Apology

I just want to take a minute to apologize for all the shit I've caused in this community. I will admit flat out, I'm not exactly liked by this community, but I want to apologize for the shit I've caused. I'm sorry for breaking [H], and turning people against each other. I'm sorry for stealing hydra and changing the face of SPAK. I've told him that he needs to go back and make his peace with them, even if it means leaving me behind. I'm sorry for talking shit about Watermelon, Metal and Torvald. I'm sorry for manipulating Hydra back in the [H] days for my own gain. I'm sorry for turning all of SPAK against eachother.


Most of all, I'm sorry to watermelon. After alot of time, and thinking. Not to mention the hard reality check you gave me last night, on Altdeath. I apologize to you. You, have done nothing but benefit this community and all I did was bash you. I apologize and no longer want any problems with you, or anyone else for that matter. I hope we can be cool again some day.

Metal, you helped me tons. I appreciate everything you did to help me. Everything you did, going out of your way, and wasting time making sure I was okay. I'm sorry for how I've been lately. I hope we can be cool again someday. You are an awesome person Metal.

Redshirt, I'm sorry I took advantage of you. I'm sorry i wrecked what you had going. You really had some promising shit going here on this community, but I went and fucked it up. Everything Watermelon said about me was true. You may be my best friend, but I owe you an apology. I'm sorry for everything i put you through.

Now, I know I don't have the best reputation around here anymore, but id like to to say.. I will change that ASAP. I'm tired of being the source of shit in this community. I too would like to apologize to my friends in spak. My actions have caused a great clan to split and multiple problems within our collective. I hope you can all forgive me. In my defense when I started the Spak City servers I wanted nothing more than to make the competitive scene better here. After certain events with the whole blues ts and I began to not really care anymore (which Chris knows himself, so keep throwing that "he really didn't care" bullshit out there) which leads me here. If anything you did me a favor by ridding me of that responsibility.

I observe from as far away as I can, and I still cannot understand the reasoning behind this whole "split". Blue's TS and Spak TS play the same game. Doom. On the same port even, why be uptight and nitpick about everything. Play, scrim, duel, whatever, but there's really no need to split the community into two separate groups. Not even a need to label them. I idle on spak TS but that doesn't make me part of the 'spak' crew. We're all the same thing, zandro players.

I think the drama needs to just be put away. I think this port has had it's share of drama in the past, and having it turn a new leaf has people all up in arms about everything and people trying to create drama for entertainment. If you want entertainment, play the game. There's enough drama and shit talk in the servers to fuel your need for it. Let's keep it there (And at a reasonable level, of course).

The whole "Lilith said this! Redshirt did this! Water is a scumbag, power tripping whore! Metal likes the taste of Captain Morgans spiced rum!" It's all getting old. Why not just drop it, play and enjoy the game and the drama that comes with the competitive aspect of it, yes?

Although while I don't doubt the longevity of your servers' use, I do still feel as if a dedicated server would be a worthwhile initiative in terms of the community as a whole. I see applications in things such as working on mods together, organizing speedmapping sessions, and possibly giving servers like WDI and AOW2 their own channels.

Spak/Blue ts will allow clans to make their own channels and any other channels. Both team speaks average about 15 different people each day unless its like early on a weekday [work/school]

I know spak is dedicated, and I'm almost positive Blue's TS is also dedicated. As Slyfox stated, either one of us are more than willing to let people create any channel necessary. It all comes down to preference.

I also agree with blue's post, the two most active TS are Blue's and Spak's. This is based on my own personal accounts though, I could be wrong, there might be some 3rd TS with 50 people on it each day.

I'd be alright with a single, "official" TS server for the sake of a single activity center for the general populace and direct new guys to (instead of needing to decide to go to Bluespeak or Spak, thereby reducing the number of people they talk to in pretty much half and needing to try integrating into fairly well-knit close circles of people). It could be advertised on the main site, showing who's all on it in realtime like some other gaming communities do. The same guys who moderate IRC/forums could manage it as well.

Hellspawn Armada is there yes, but it's unofficial, and thus completely unsupported and unadvertised, only relying on word-of-mouth for its location. Word of its location never reaches unfamiliar or new players because of those few simple facts.

There'd always be Spak and Bluespeak for their respective circles of friends, of course. This one would just be a "main plaza" for everyone else.
