I found this old photo recently of me playing Doom when I was 3. You can't actually see the monitor that well, but I'm sure it's Doom based on where my hands were positioned on the keyboard. I didn't play other games that way. Thought it was pretty cool, and here I am 16 years later.

Yeah, I was about 4 or 5 but for the PSX. PC version with wads at around 9 or 10.

I started at age 4 playing SNES Doom on my older brother's Super Nintendo.

Started at 2 so about 10 years of doom

I started at like 10 or 11 never used to play any games before then, doom is mainly all I've played.

I got hooked on at the same age.
Time flies ridiculously fast.

I love Doom a lot, so... as a teen, I introduced my siblings. My bro was playing Doom since 5 :D I was playing with him on Doom Legacy on a split screen. He grew up to be better in competitive then me (which isn't hard from the other hand), was trying to make his own maps, and spent a lot of time fine-tuning mods for Doom 3. Then, he got a better computer...
And then, he discovered Valve games...
Knowing the community, I'm glad he's far from Zandro though, lol :D
My sisters... the eldest one feels sick from playing, so she stopped (I played hundreds of split-screen deathmatches with her on hipafrag before :/), and the youngest, well, I gave her Chex Quest.

Only discovered at 13 (6 years ago) through Doom 64 :(

Started playing Doom at the age of 3. And then Starcraft, etc. All the games I played at the age of 4-5 were games that Dad was playing aswell. And now, I am a competitive guy in doom, pretty good at strategy games and puzzle games.

First started at the age of 2, i remember watching my older brothers playing Ultimate Doom, they first let me play through E3M8 (DIS) which was the first map i beaten, though the sequence afterwards gave me nightmares for many years in my early childhood.

Despite that, i've been hooked on Doom since.

Haha yeah I remember when I'd just use iddqd and idclip to make monsters fight each other on map30

15 years for me. :)

yeah, i used to play the shareware version of doom when i was like 5 or 6 :3
