Same here, maybe it's a problem with the space in the URL, dunno. But yeah this would be useful.

Usually when sharing a folder you have to add individual people to the folder, it's not a public thing. Individual files can have public links but not whole folders.

Maybe it's possible to allow whole folders, but I haven't seen it done before.

Also your link is directed to a general folder that everyone with a dropbox account has in the folder hierarchy.

/home/Public/* - That's not something you can just link to. You will have to share the folder, you can't just link to it like that.
