I rarely play on anything other than PC but for the wealth and quality of games I would say the N64 is my favorite console. Some of my fave games for it (and not the main ones) were Banjo Kazooie, Jet force gemini, Hydro Thunder, Lode runner and Vigilante 8.

Nintendo 64. It was amazing growing up with such amazing games like Ocarina of Time, Majoras Mask, Goldeneye, Pokemon Stadium, Pokemon Snap, Super Mario 64, Mario Kart 64, Mario Party, Doom 64, Quake, Super Smash Bros, and the list goes on.

N64 for me because it had the most amazing games to play; lot of fun times had on that thing. NES would be the runner up.

Playstation 2 by far. Ratchet & Clank, Jak 2, Grand Theft Auto, and many others.

I normally pick Genesis just out of fanboyism; It was Sega's best with Sonic 3 & Knuckles, Gunstar Heroes, Phantasy Star, Shining Force, Zero Tolerance, Phantom 2040, Ecco. And its 6 button controller/Arcade stick was far better for fighting games than SNES (in SNES' defense it did have an arcade stick too). N64 is second with Goldeneye and Smash Bros.

lol. I was joking, but I actually did have one (the "QD" model which was better than the original aka the "taco phone") and it was a decent piece of smartphone for the time (Symbian OS) and it ran well (i was able to run both Doom Legacy and Quake on the NGage at a good framerate, which is amazing considering it was '06 and the NGage QD was half the size of a GBA).

The actual licensed games that you bought for it sucked though. So yeah, as a console it sucked. But once you hacked/jailbroke it and put Doom and SNES emulators on there, it was pretty great.

Every Nintendo console up to and including the N64. As Decay said, the NES had the (IMO) definitive single player experience, as did the SNES, while the N64 was the definitive multiplayer console. As always, opinions can vary.
