Computer specs?

Chances are, we all have kick-butt computers in some shape or form. Whether it's a laptop or desktop, power-saving or power hog, etc, doesn't really matter tbh :\. Part of this is to see what kind of competition I have in terms of gaming rigs since I don't have water-cooling or twin video card setups which would mean I'm not at the way top in terms of gaming power, but I'm up there :). PS I remember someone cracking a joke at me after seeing me die 8 times before getting another kill myself and said "scratch that, its not the computer, its the operator" at which point I just LMAO

Anyway, here are my specs:

OS: Windows 7 64-bit Home Premium
Processor: Intel Core-i7 2600
Processor Architecture: Sandy Bridge (32 nm)
Graphics card: Radeon HD 6870 (from what I've seen inside my computer, it's all air-cooled)
RAM: 12 GB @ 1333MHz (Upgradable up to 32 GB despite 16 GB limit due to OS edition)
HDD: 500 GB 7200 rpm
Media reader(s): Blu-Ray drive 8x (BD dual layer compatibility unknown, need to research), 15-in-1 card reader, 6 USB 2.0 ports, 2 USB 3.0 ports
PSU: Assuming 500 Watt :\
Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium sound card (it's sad because this thing is capable of 7.1 surround and all I can do is stereo X) <holding in laugh>)

My favourite PC:
laptop dell latitude c610
OS: Debian Wheezy/Win2K (not some lame dual boot, I have 2 HDD's and change them liek a boss)
CPU:Mobile Intel Pentium 3 1GHz
RAM: 512MB
GPU: No.
HDD: Both have 20GB
DVD player (kinda working), speakers (they tend to literally explode) USB (one) PCI port (I use it for Wi-Fi card)
What is special about this laptop? Is, this shit is indestructible. Well, now it's waiting for new hinge, since I was dragging it by a screen and eventually the hinge, and then tape between screen and computer broke :( That's why I need to play on a borrowed crappy netbook, Asus Eee PC 1001 PXD, which has all stats like 10 times my laptop, BUT DOESN'T HAVE A SOUL

e-peen strokin', I see. Might as well.

OS: Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate x64
Motherboard: ASUSTek Sabertooth 990FX
CPU: AMD FX-8150 (currently clocked at 3.6GHz)
CPU Architecture: Bulldozer (32nm)
Graphics Card: nVidia Geforce GTX550 Ti (manual OC)
RAM: 8GB Corsair Vengeance 1866MHz (using XMP profile included)
HDDs: 500GB Western Digital Caviar Green (5400RPM, I'm really stupid by using this as OS HDD), 500GB Western Digital Caviar Blue (7200RPM, a bit faulty, sometimes it freezes), 1TB Seagate Barracuda 7200RPM SATA 6GB/s, 2TB Western Digital Caviar Green (5400RPM, used as external storage)
Media Reader(s): HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GH22NS40 (SATA interface), DVD burning speed = 22x, 12x USB 2.0, 2x USB 3.0, 3x USB 2.0 expansion slots, 1x USB 3.0 expansion slot
PSU: ATX 700W (more than enough to cover my needs)
Audio: Realtek HD Audio 7.1 Surround capable (it's still Realtek, so it's not much, but it does the job)

I hope you guys looked at their latency before to buy 12/16gb of ddr3 lol!

Anyway:
p5kc by asus
2.4ghz quad core duo by intel
gtx 260 (896mb of ddr3) by nvidia
500gb hd by hitachi
4Gb ddr2 @800mhz 4-4-4-15 by ocz

and I guess it's all... onboard soundcard. I'm waiting the next generation, as for now I can run everything (except some maps of doom such as sodfinal.wad map28).

It's strange, your Intel 82945G graphic card should support opengl:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comparison ... generation

Have you tried modded drivers for your graphic card?

I guess I should rephrase it. D2's MAP01 in OGL runs around 7-8 FPS, and more complex maps in WDI or ZH run at a smooth 2SPF (Seconds per frame)
