Activision never released development tools for Modern Warfare 2. The few mods that do exist for it are just minor alterations. Making a mod without tools is somewhat like making a building without tools. It can be done, but the capabilities and quality will suffer. And don't forget the wave of bans that hit people back in MW2 when they found out how to re-enable leaning (which was taken out of the game). Having a minor shred of moddability doesn't mean much when it puts you on thin ice with VAC.

Not too sure if this will mean much, but still, saying that any CoD game doesn't have modability is like saying no one plays Doom.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but the last SDK Activision released was back in 2008 in World at War. Since then they have released Black Ops 1 and 2, Modern Warfare 2 and 3, and Ghosts, none of which have had an SDK. All of which have had overpriced DLC and map packs.
Also, the modding capability of Call of Duty and the population of Doom servers are not directly related in any way. So it's actually more like saying "Call of Duty doesn't have modability anymore". I can't give their current products credit for practices they don't follow anymore.

Updates on Script
The title of the video has been renamed to Call of Duty vs DOOM, to follow alphabetical order and to avoid being seen as biased.
The final organizational format is done, so the content is pretty much falling into place at this point. The stock (unmodded) and modded segments that were previously isolated to separate segments of the video have been condensed together for added coherency, and it's made adding and organizing content much easier.
Updates on Recording:
The servers we'll be recording on will be going up right after a decision is made about what mods will best capture the multi-player experience. Your suggestions are welcome for this decision! After that, we set up the flags and the servers will all go live.
The servers will remain online even when recording sessions aren't in progress, but I tend to keep Doomseeker or IDE on my second monitor- if I see the server populated, we're likely join and record either in-game or as spectator.
