Firefox, Adblock, Flashblock, Noscript, XP and Win7, never had an issue.
But then, I don't use an AV.

I have an idea, but am not sure if it will work, but it may.
Try turning off "Enable XMLHttp request features?" in ACP > Configuration > Server and Optimization Options
This will disable all of the XMLHttp stuff. Which includes QuickEdit and QuickReply without refreshing the page.
Again, I am not completely sure if it will work, but it may.
PS: For those who don't trust me, I am absolutely sure that doing this will not break anything.
