OP's trying to say that it's lame for an author to recommend their own mod because the author may likely be biased about the value of their work
Instead, the OP prefers to have other people recommend the mod, with their personal opinion on why the mod is actually good, and not just because of statistics like popularity/etc.

You forgot to headshot the cyber with them. That damage bonus is stupid.

I did it the same way you do it in normal Doom so you can see the difference.
I haven't tested headshots that much but I can understand.

Well, I'll agree that people may think his mod rocks but actually it sucks...
It's kinda hard to judge your own mod, but, it's not impocible to do it.
And it's harder to know if your mod sux or not with troll people that say everything sux without a reason.
Well, try Dawn of Reality, it may work with brutal doom, also try happy time circus 2, it'll not work with brutal doom, but, it's damn cool...
And maybe, hmmm, cursed maze?

Its worth mentioning that dawn of reality on its own wil bring your pc on its knees. Its the crysis of doom mods.

Yeah, it's mine. It's not available for general public consumption, because it's five years later and I still haven't finished it.
