OK
EASY WAY
1.First off,make a .ZIP file(use 7zip or WinRAR).
2.Drop off your music files in there.
3.OPTIONAL:rename the files to be shorter(no space allowed)
4.Rename the .zip file extension to .pk3(.pk3 IS a .ZIP file,so it's ok)
HARD WAY
1.Download Slade
2.Make a new .wad file
3.Drop your music files in there
4.OPTIONAL:rename the files to be shorter(no space allowed)
BOTH EASY AND HARD FOLLOW
5.Drop it in your skins folder
6.Type "Changemus [insert your music file name here][insert the file extension here]"(no quotation marks)
7.Volia!

faq
Q:What music files do you recommend?
A:I recommend .MP3 , .OGG and .MID files ONLY.

Q:Would it work in Multiplayer?
a:Of course!Level Auth will NOT check wads and pk3s UNLESS it changes the game

You don't even need to do that. Zandronum is capable of playing MP3's that are in the Zandro folder (changemus ./poop.mp3), and you can even play a whole WMP/Winamp playlist if you drop the playlist file in your Zandro folder and use the console command "playlist".

playlist <playlist.m3u> [shuffle|position]
Loads a WinAmp .m3u playlist. Any music that would normally be played will be ignored, and the songs in the playlist will be played instead. If you add the word shuffle after the name of the .m3u file, the playlist will be replayed in a random order. In place of shuffle, you can also specify position, a number corresponding to the song number in the playlist you want to play first.

playlistnext
Plays the next song in the playlist.

playlistpos <position>
Starts playing the song at the specified position in the playlist.

playlistprev
Plays the previous song in the playlist.

playliststatus
Displays the number of songs in the playlist and the currently playing song.

stopmus
Stops playing the current song.

You can also play music from a CD.

cd_play [track]
Starts playing a CD. If you specify a track, that specific track will be looped. Otherwise, the entire CD will play.

Might want to add 'S3M MODULE' with preferred music. Its mp3 styled, but less size. There are more music types too.
And why credit if its a tut by you?

EDIT: Something to add to Ænima's comment is that various links providing music works too (changemus http://www.musiclink.com/MrManRocks). Youtube doesnt work in this case, which needs to be the case real bad >:|

changemus can access any supported music file from your hard drive, as well as ogg and mp3 on the internet, through http

Also sometimes it's convenient to control your music through Zandronum rather than having to minimize the game to get to you music player.

Very interesting. That would go great with the Zandro Expansion Pack. I always wondered if there was a way to do Random. Just one thing, is there such a way to toggle Shuffle on and off? Also, what is the Value for selecting Position in the Playlist, or cvar.. whateva its called?

I wonder if I'm the only one who actually uses Zandronum as his music player of choice.

I.e. sometimes starting up a server and joining it for no other purpose than to listen to music found somewhere on the hard disk drive.
