Need help with attaching an hotmail to youtube

Been trying to attach my hotmail account to youtube for ages now since live movie maker needs hotmail to log in suddenly. No help video's around either D:

Im running a youtube channel, so i pretty much need help asap

For starters, get some actual video editing software, like Sony Vegas. And Youtube is owned by Google, and therefore you must have a Google account to connect it with. Hotmail will not work.

Your YouTube account is most likely linked with your Google account (in fact it might be one in the same)

So, I would suggest taking advantage of Google Mail's existing email account management function in the settings:



Click "Add an/another email address you own" and follow the instructions given there

EDIT: I reread your post and realized that the Movie Maker login probably won't work with this method, BUT you can manage your email accounts more easily this way regardless

Then why is my youtube channel worked by my hotmail, not gmail or whatever it is. You need to remember Outlook replaced hotmail some time ago, so some support is lost. But that wouldn't make sense, right; losing a email account? What I'm am guessing, emails with hotmail.com used can't be used to do some things now( unlikely) , or you are doing it wrong( which is weird...just...add it and autheniacate it...).

before i updated it, it needed gmail. I remember beign able to attach hotmail to my youtube, as soon as gmail was needed because of the youtube one update. Does sony vegas only need gmail?

Sony vegas is simply a complex video editing software thats about 475925 times better that winderws live movie caker. Why in the actual fuck would it need ANY email for support? Pirate it, you'll feel a bit better.

ok, but its 500 euro's it looks like, unless i'm really looking wrong now. After searching the whole time i found out i can add a different account (including hotmail). However, when i choose hotmail it sais it has technical difficulties. DAMN YOU YOUTUBE D:

Now I really dislike youtube, it´s trying to force me to put my google name and change the youtube name, also he wants to join youtube and google, now I have like shit >.< (why google, why you spam me each day to change something that I didn´t wanted >.>)
