Hello everyone! I have known and played Zandronum for a long time, I am familiar with skulltag and q-zan. Until recently I was only a user. But recently I started experimenting with modding and I have questions that I would like to discuss here. I like online games with a 2.5D engine, such as doom-engine and assaultcube (first cube engine). I believe that Zandronum should not blindly repeat GZDoom and follow in its wake. I like Zandronum as it is now.

I have accounts on other forums, for example here:

Welcome!

What’s your modding question? By the way, for a faster response, I’d suggest joining #modding-assistance on the Zandronum Discord.
Reinforcements: midgame Survival joining/respawning
Doom64: Unabsolved: Doom64 + Diablo II
ZandroSkins: a pack made by our community
AeniPuffs: 3D blood and bullet puff effects, free to use for your own mods
Squad Radio: a WASD-based radio chat menu, add your own custom sounds!
Mercenaries (on hold)

Thank you!
I am interested in standalone iwad and ipk3 not related to Doom content for Zandronum. This is something I started experimenting with about two years ago. I am not a programmer and do not know much about modding, so the progress is small, but I managed to do something. For example, here is an iwad that can be launched in Zandronum and even play it: https://www.mediafire.com/file/6rarukqa ... 4.zip/file

In another thread, I gave an example of a standalone ipk3.

I like doom, but I would like to move from it to a slower and more tactical game, with a limited number of weapons for one player, but varied, like in CS. The main motivation for doing this on the doom engine, in my opinion, is the relative ease of creating levels. The availability and free tools for this. Well, and simply because I like 2.5D.

Thank you for inviting me to the discord chat. Although I am quite slow for this due to my poor knowledge of English. I use a machine translator to communicate. So I apologize in advance if some of my phrases may seem rude. I just do not know the language well enough to feel it.

I do not intend to create many topics at once, I hope for a long and thoughtful presence here.
