Have you tried making a green variant of your icon?

I made more than the 32x32 24x24 icon that you see on the forums.

Sorry that I haven't been able to find a piece of icon making software that's compatible with Windows 7 64bit yet to throw these all together, in the meantime, anyone who knows how can use convertico or something to use these for Zandronum shortcuts.

It's the same color as the background of Zandronum's Moddb icon, which is more green than Skulltag's icon anyway.

So I thought it'd fit.

Ooops. That's supposed to be the transparency color (like how cyan/magenta is used for Doom graphics unofficially), it's not an official Zandronum color.
The graphic was used on the moddb page is one of the concept images, specifically the last version before the official/final one I linked previously

I mean, you're free to use that color, I just always make my 8-bit transparency color one that fits with the art I'm currently messing with because bright cyan/magenta is hard on the eyes.

I can make it more green if you wish. It's the same hue as the forum's Green theme.

It looked too plain without something there, since the ST logo had a much more detailed shape. Like I said, it was 5 minutes. Chiillll.

Nah, nothing like that :p I agree fully with you, I was just stating the amount of effort I put into it (next to none), and why I slapped the Z on there in the first place. I'm not a talented artist at all and I know that. In retrospect I chose my words terribly.

As for shinyness/glassiness/orb shaped, I guess. I'm guessing it'll be moot soon enough with Zan 1.0 getting its own hi-res icon. This one was just meant to be in the meantime.

By the way, I took some of your advice and also used Infernus's superior emblem drawing and did this. Hopefully it's an improvement, as in it uses more than two layers.

I'd say it would be even better if you can manage to salvage the sharp angles from the previous attempt into this one.

Because honestly, it's so rounded that it hurts.

I see your point. I can give it a shot; this was infernus's logo drawing instead of mine. I thought it looked better than mine .-. I'll post when I can get around to it.

EDIT: Okay, I can't decide what to do since I have no artistic knowledge, so help me out.

I have four here. In this order: Plain, bordered, textured, and bordered and textured. The texture was some hi-res COMPBLUE I found somewhere, but it didn't turn out great.
