I prefer the third one (above); textured without the border. The borders were bright and made it difficult to see that cool texture.

Perhaps this [style] should just be the official icon, and Infurnus can instead focus his efforts on a ZandroGuy skin. C'mon, you know it'll be awesome. :P

Anyway, I love icon discussions like this. You get to see some really neat stuff when everyone pitches in.

The bordered and textured one has subtle detailing to the texturing work, which works in a high res environment and I would wager looks extremely similar if not identical when scaled down, as you'd lose the fine detailing in the process. Great job with the emblem. I like it.

I see your point. I can give it a shot; this was infernus's logo drawing instead of mine. I thought it looked better than mine .-. I'll post when I can get around to it.

EDIT: Okay, I can't decide what to do since I have no artistic knowledge, so help me out.

I have four here. In this order: Plain, bordered, textured, and bordered and textured. The texture was some hi-res COMPBLUE I found somewhere, but it didn't turn out great.

Could you make a Zandronum wallpaper based on this Icon? Id totally use it.

Just seeing that next the the Skulltag icon already gives me a sense that this port is moving in a direction. It literally pops out at you as if to say "hi."

Oh my. I like how you incorporated the Z into the skull cracks. I'll have to apply that to my 2D ones.

EDIT: Okay, here's a new variant.

Should the skullcrack stay as bright as the visor, or be like the previous ones (same color as silhouette)? I darkened the border inlay as well. Untextured and unbordered will be posted at request, but it seems like most enjoy the textured and bordered one.

Open to advice.
