[uber-fast explain mode on] Little chat-window, usually at upside or downside of Forum. Most times used to spontaneus and fast conversations. Sometimes Forums have own IRC channel, instead of shoutbox. But some users would make some threads about "WHERE'S IRC, WHERE'S IRC, WHERE'S IRC". So, there can be window with link to IRC, Address or QuakeNet box. If you're using IRC and don't want to change anything, just tell me, I just want to have answer for question "Where the hell can I talk with other forum users".
How 'bout this idea?

In other news, I made a new batch of forum icons, these are probably the final versions. Here they are for all the themes:

Tiny thread activity icons, and subforum activity helmet icons, as well as a few cosmetic icons that looked bad on the darker backgrounds all our green/blue themes use.

And here's some alternate thread activity helmets just in case the regular ones I did look odd on other temes:

The _noglow activity helmets might be of use on Blue Alternate, for example, to keep from conflicting with the lighter background

Maximum avatar size is 128x128, by the looks of it. (And not 150x150)

It might be an enforced limitation within MyBB. I'm not sure how to fix it.

You can see the "give reputation" button under your own posts, but the window that appears says that you can't give reputation to yourself. Why not just hide the button under your own posts?

Also, this thread is seen (from the Archive forum perspective) as if the first post was made by Metal, and the last one by Igor, while the only post there is Twister's.

Also, I can't rate threads. When I try to rate a thread, a dialog window appears (Opera) and this is what it says:

Oh , forgot to fix the legend on my theme.
It's because I used an updated template from my old site and I just forgot to change that part.

Also, for some reason thread rating is disabled for normal users. :\
I am not sure why, but if it's intended we may as well have thread ratings globally disabled.

Maybe there's a way to require a threshold of votes before displaying the rating? There was a problem user that was abusing it a couple days ago and it eventually got turned off.
I'm wondering if we can keep the rating system but make it need a bit more weight before immediately showing a 1

I may end up disabling the entire voting and reputation system as a whole. I left it on mainly to see how it would go.
Mainly to the fact there will be abusers and I don't believe we want to be chasing down each one.

This wasn't discussed with the rest of us. I never said I had a problem chasing them down either. The bad apples are easy to pick out right away.

I've re-enabled the rep system. I didn't know it was being moderated anyway, and after seeing how much it failed on the ST forums...

The same thing happened to me, go to User CP > Edit options:

Custom user titles are replaced by clan tags for me.



EDIT: No custom title shows up even after you remove the clan tag.

Fixed. I made an undoable mistake and had to revert to the one from my forums.
My forums don't use the clan tag so the ID's are a little different.

I did force it default before I started working on it.

Logging in by clicking on a user's rep gets a 404 error. Returning to the "previous" page brings you to the normally destined reputation page.

Also, while composing this post, I noticed that Previewing is terrible even with Classic Mode enabled. The avatar is centered on the top, stats are all the way to the left, and the post content is on the very bottom (as though Classic Mode were disabled).

One last thing - Could we get a "Disable Smilies in posts" option in the User CP?
