Hello fellow Doomers,

I could use some help.

Is it possible to extract the weapon- and enemy-sounds from here

and put it together into a .wad?


Also
how do I can I extract these (Door-Opening, Button etc-) Sounds and put them into a wad?

In the first one I took a look with SLADE,
but there were no Sound-Files under SOUND!

The second one, I found the Sound-Files, but I have no Idea how I create a .pk3 out of that!

You can create a pk3 using the "new zip" option (I think that's what it's called; ZIP and PK3 are the same thing, by the way) and create a folder named sounds, then put the sounds in there. Assuming you're just replacing Doom sounds that's all you need to do (make sure they have the same name).

I don't even see any sounds at all in the rar pack from the first mod so any custom sounds in that video are probably in some other file that the guy was using.
