Sound Scripting

I'm new to scripting I've been working on a wad that requires sound scripting. What I want to do is remove all the sounds except for music in certain sectors of my map. I know there is a way to remove sound as I have seen scripts to do such but I can't figure out how. Can someone help?

It's actually a "Sector Actions" thing, "Silent sector".
Reinforcements: midgame Survival joining/respawning
Doom64: Unabsolved: Doom64 + Diablo II
ZandroSkins: a pack made by our community
AeniPuffs: 3D blood and bullet puff effects, free to use for your own mods
Squad Radio: a WASD-based radio chat menu, add your own custom sounds!
Mercenaries (on hold)
