I can't get any map to work with doom builder 2 on windows 8.1 in my laptop.

It crashes with the classic fatal error with the "continue" and "exit" buttons and you're forced to close it immediately. Is there anyone that has the same problem with this OS or is it just an error of mine?

Doom builder 2 on windows 8.1 should work. I use it myself, and it has no errors. The only advice I can offer would be to un-install all of doom builder 2's elements, reboot your PC, then reinstall the program. Good luck.

You should not update to 8.1 in the first place, I know instances as to where this makes you system virtually useless, in where "system interrupts" eat 70% of your CPU constant, no matter how many Ghz you have. The only way to undo the failures of 8.1 is to degrade to 8.0 IMO

Solved. It seems like it was a NET Framework problem. Reinstalling Doom Builder 2 did the job. :)

Interesting, I used system recovery, which solved the problem. System recovery only change your program data and your system data, which means those vira must be saved to either of those.
