Zandronum

The BOTINFO page says:

The bot script to use with the bot. Bot scripts give bots certain properties, such as making them slower or taunt more often. (Check _BOTLUMP for the predefined scripts)

But I never heard of a bot script. The script lumps in zandronum.pk3 are a bunch of nonsense characters, and I have never seen any "_BOTLUMP."
(unless it's the ___bot.lump files that, as mentioned before, are nonsense characters).
How does that work?

Those are scripts that have been compiled (much like BEHAVIOR ACS's) and are therefore unreadable.


IIRC there was a BOTSCRIPT decompiler/editor but it's incomplete and doesn't work 100%.
