In coop, how do I stop BFG shots from knocking players around?

When playing coop, is it possible to keep the BFG tracers and projectile from knocking around other players?

I've tried applying +NODAMAGETHRUST where it seems like it might be applicable, but that doesn't seem to stop the behavior.

Is there some way to stop the BFG tracers from targeting players at all? Right now, the tracers attack other players but do no damage, only thrusting them around. Is there some way to force the tracers to only target things which aren't damage immune to BFG damage type?

the BFG Tracers are pretty much hard coded into the engine, you can't stop them from doing that, so they work on anything that lives, in this case being allied players.

sv_smartaim 2 will stop BFG tracers from hitting your allies at all. The server will have to enable this setting.

coopmthru_vanilla_v2.pk3 - This mod makes the BFGBall (and rockets and plasma) pass right through your allies. As the name implies, it is for cooperative game modes, and unmodified Doom weapons: if you want to play Team Deathmatch or other weapon mods, then you might need to tinker with it.

I was afraid of that. I noticed the Zdoom has hacked in a little bit of customizability to the tracers (custom damage types), but I wasn't sure what else there is.

Looks like sv_smartaim 2 works for what I want.

Thanks to both of your for your responses.
