If you want to blame UDMF, atleast have a solid reason todo so. I will mention that I have been making UDMF maps for some time, I personally rather enjoy it and taking advantage of its many features and now - nearly limitless of how far you can go with the map designs. The bugs you have outlined is not part of UDMF, but a bug - more likely with the Zandronum version you are using or some other dependencies. In addition, if you are using new UDMF features that is part of the recent builds of (G)ZDoom - while using Zandronum 1.0 (that uses ZDoom 2.3 as base, if I remember correctly?) then of course things will not work.Zeberpal wrote: My personal thinking it has to do something with Zandronum itself or UDMF.
Have you tried further debugging this map by trying Zandronum 2.0 alpha build or even took IBM's suggestion of trying GZDoom's latest stable version, or did you just gave up, blamed UDMF, downgraded to the binary map format, and called it a day?
GZDB launched this in Skill3, while I startplayed it on Skill4. Skybox had skills 1-3 flags. As well as other missing items.
