DB2 UDMF format not working with Zandronum?

So when I open up my wad in doom builder 2 and test it, it works perfectly. However when I open up my wad with Zandronum my map isnt there. I have my map on map01 and when I load the wad it just goes to Doom 2 map01. Is it because I am using the old syntax for my MAPINFO lump? The music and sky is what its suppose to be but my actual map doesn't load unless I run it through DB2.

Udmf works fine in zandro. Are you loading doom2 after your pwad?
Also post the wad please (unless someone else knows the solution)

That happens when there is a problem in your wad (or pk3) that prevents Zandronum from using your map. I don't know udmf, so i can't tell you what the problem is, only that there is one.

My friend helped me solve it. Apparently you have to have the MAP01 marker and the ENDMAP mark at the top of the wad file. Stupid but it works.

I can not see how that is exactly stupid, it is technically kinda the way that the game knows there is a map in the first place :\
