Windows 8 Problem?

Okay, I just Got Windows 8 And when i went to use XWE it starts glitching out and stuff and won't work correctly... The same thing happened to SLUMPED.

Does anyone have any idea whats going on?

Yeah, Windows 8.

XWE and Windows 8 are your problems. If I recall, SLADE 3 has a lump editor, so you could try that. The only other solution I can give you is go back to Windows 7.

Okay so i downloaded slade when it did THIS APPEARED!

Slade works fine for me. (Microsoft Security Essentials)

Probably your antivirus. I use Avast and it never gives me any problems.

Okay so i got this when installing...



When i ignore it, it won't install.
I've clicked the retry button 1000 times... Nothing.

So i guess Windows 8 is an asshole?

Doom Builder 2 works fine though. But why not a lump editor?

EDIT!!!!!!!!!!!! : I downloaded the zip instead and it when i run it, it looks fine... just give me a second to see if it works.

ED, EDD 'n' EDIT! : yeah it works thanks guys! also this is my first time using SLADE3 so if theres anything i should know about it let me know!
